After several unsuccessful competency-based interviews, a colleague of mine recommended that I seek help from Jo. In hindsight this turned out to be one of the best bits of advice I had been given in a while. We all think we know the answers and some of us have become a little arrogant based on our own life experiences and training. Jo, in a very subtle and unassuming way, coached me to a point where it was obvious where I was going wrong and what I needed to do to improve my chances. Needless to say I felt revitalised and had a newfound confidence which helped me secure the role I really wanted. I would recommend Jo in a heartbeat. She is knowledgeable and experienced, is an active listener and has wonderful interpersonal skills. Sometimes it’s the marginal gains that make the biggest difference and Jo helped me see this.
