A seasoned HR professional with 20+ years’ cross-sector experience, I pursue a portfolio career encompassing executive coaching, interim HR director and change management roles, and consultancy projects.
I work with individuals and organisations to improve their performance: helping individuals to get more out of their work, and helping businesses to get more out of their people. I do this by guiding people towards an increased understanding of their strengths and by challenging them to consider (or maybe reconsider) how they work and what they want to achieve. In a nice but rigorous way.
As a portfolio career person I work sometimes as a consultant, sometimes as a coach, and sometimes from within the organisation but with an outsider’s insight. I have a varied background and, perhaps unusually, I understand from personal experience what it takes to function effectively in the world of big corporations just as I know what it’s like to operate a microbusiness.
